Senior Financial Leadership Position for PE-Backed Business

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Group FC to provide strategic financial leadership and support to our client's CFO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controlling, accounting, consolidating, and reporting, with experience working with PE-backed businesses or similar environments where cash and working capital management is critical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of Group management results and consolidated statutory results, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls and review frameworks to ensure robust financial reporting.
  • Manage balance sheet risks, opportunities, and provisions, providing insights on their impact on P&L and forecast/budget processes.
  • Maximise working capital through commercial judgment and management of suppliers and customers, focusing on cash flow optimization.
  • Provide financial assistance to subsidiaries, including management reporting guidance and cash flow statement support.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant experience in financial and management accounting.
  • Strong track record of improving processes, instilling control environments, and enhancing finance teams.
  • Ability to operate at pace and balance competing priorities.
  • Experience working with PE-backed businesses or similar environments.
Location and Contract:

The role is based in London, and you must be able to attend the office 2-3 days per week. The initial contract is intended to be 3 months.

Salary:

£90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
