Management Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our team in Oldbury. As a key member of our accounts team, you will be responsible for ensuring all day-to-day transactions are processed in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the purchase and sales ledger assistants to maintain accurate records and up-to-date information in their systems.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including sales analysis, bank movements, supplier and customer analysis.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure accounting policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the organization.
- Supervise daily ledger activities and ensure accuracy, adherence to policy, and up-to-date ledgers.
- Perform monthly payroll adjustments, journals, and analysis, as well as VAT returns reconciliation.
- Assist in the development of ERP systems and costings exercises.
- Support the Financial Controller in ad-hoc projects and intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Requirements:
- AAT/CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ERP experience essential.
- Manufacturing accounting experience.
- Must have experience in a busy commercial business accounting department.
