Job Title: Deputy Head of Cabin Crew Training

Ascend Airways, a leading provider of ACMI and charter services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Deputy Head of Cabin Crew Training. Based at our London Gatwick operational base, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous development within our training department.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Cabin Crew Training and Safety in developing and implementing training strategies, ensuring compliance with UK CAA regulations and requirements. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of training programs and syllabi for Cabin Crew and Flight Crew
  • Liaising with the Crew Training Coordinator's to ensure efficient management of crew training records and expiries
  • Conducting departmental audits, risks assessments, and compliance checks
  • Delivering comprehensive training programs, including CRM, SEP, Fire and Smoke, Aviation Medicine, Aviation Security, and Dangerous Goods

Requirements:

  • Valid UK CCA or ability to obtain a UK CCA/UK Medical certificate
  • Train the Trainer or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Previous experience in airline cabin crew training management or a similar role
  • Proficiency in creating training materials using Microsoft, Prezi, and Canva
