Job Description: Mental Health Support Assistant

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing individualised therapeutic strategies to promote positive behavioural change and improve academic outcomes. You will work closely with our experienced educators to deliver evidence-based interventions that meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement individualised therapeutic strategies to support students with challenging behaviour
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support
* Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on best practices for supporting students with autism and challenging behaviour

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with autism and/or challenging behaviour
* Ability to implement individualised support plans
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Training provided to develop your skills and expertise

About the Role:

* Salary: £80 - £90 per day
* Full-time position
* ASAP start
