About the Role

As a Pastry Commis Chef at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London, you will be responsible for adhering to our MOHG food safety policy and executing all food items with standard recipe and plating guide as devised by the Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the MOHG food safety policy and apply the company food safety program at all times.
  • Be fully aware of designated section menu, recipes, method of production, and presentation standards.
  • Execute all food items with standard recipe and plating guide as devised by Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef.
  • Receive and store goods with the company food safety standard, stock rotation, FIFO, and correct date labeling.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct them with safety in mind at all times.
Working Conditions

You will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
