We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to join our client's team in The Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the care home and improving its standings to ensure a positive rating from future inspections.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Home Manager to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience of turnaround or maintaining high care standards, with a proven track record of successfully running a care home providing nursing and dementia care. You will be able to evidence positive CQC reports and provide experience of increasing occupancy within a care home or keeping occupancy at a high and stable level.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the standings of the home and ensure a positive rating from future inspections.
  3. Lead and manage the staffing team to provide excellent care and meet the requirements set out by the provider and CQC.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience of working as a Home Manager in a nursing setting.
  2. Previous experience of turning around or maintaining high standards within a care home.
  3. Good knowledge of CQC requirements.
  4. Strong leadership skills.
