Key Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Maintaining operational and safety standards to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  2. Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  3. Providing exceptional customer service and leading by example.
  4. Opening and closing the cafe, overseeing full operations in the Manager's absence.
  5. Recognizing and celebrating team members for outstanding service.
  6. Developing a thorough understanding of our menu and supporting team members to do the same.
  7. Driving sales growth by ensuring optimal team placement and coverage.
  8. Delivering Health & Safety and Food Safety training for team members.
  9. Supporting the Cafe Manager with colleague coaching and development.
  10. Identifying opportunities to continuously improve our service for customers.
  11. Fostering an inclusive environment where colleagues feel valued, respected, and safe.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  1. A background in hospitality, with Team/Shift Leader experience.
  2. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  3. Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  6. Confidence in using your initiative to improve ways of working.
