Treasury Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Treasury Assistant to join our team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced business based in the Birmingham City Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash flow on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations of multiple bank accounts.
  • Liaise with the purchase ledger and sales ledger teams to complete treasury-related tasks, including reporting on cash flow positions to management.
  • Process financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and implement financial policies and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to ensure compliance with regulations and financial stability.
  • Work with the IT team to establish and maintain treasury technology solutions.
Candidate Attributes and Skills:
  • Previous experience with bank reconciliations is essential, with a background in treasury or a related field being highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Immediate availability or a short notice period, with the ability to start work quickly to facilitate a smooth handover.
