Solar Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Solar Field Service Technician to join our team in Kent. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our solar plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar equipment, including electrical systems and solar panels.
  • Conduct site visits to identify and address any issues affecting plant performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve work tickets and report issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
  • Participate in the company's on-call rota for non-working hours.
Requirements
  • Experience in industrial or utility-scale solar, or an industrial electrician background.
  • City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Engineering, Installation, Testing & Inspection, or similar electrical course.
  • Full UK driving licence due to the remote nature of the sites.
What We Offer
  • Starting salary up to £42,000 per annum.
  • Overtime and on-call rota allowance.
  • Own van and fuel card.
  • 25 days annual leave.
