Job Title: Finance Business Partner

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Buckinghamshire Council. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing professional accountancy support and financial advisory services to Cabinet Members, Corporate Directors, Service Directors, and senior managers.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure effective budget management through facilitating accurate reporting of forecast budget and project outturn positions.
Contribute to the closure of accounts, ensuring quality review of working papers, grant returns, and statistical returns.
Prepare annual and medium-term financial plans and working papers for your service delivery area.
Lead and manage the completion of financial returns, FOIA requests, statutory returns, and grant claims.
Provide high-quality information, technical, and strategic financial advice to officers and members, enabling them to make informed decisions.

About You:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of part-qualified AAT, CIPFA, or CCAB and experience in Highways and Parking Operations is desirable but not essential. Local Authority experience is also desirable but not essential.
