We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Rheumatology and Chronic Pain to join our team at Evelina London Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with rheumatological conditions and chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for children with rheumatological conditions and chronic pain
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Teach and mentor junior medical staff and students
- Participate in clinical governance and audit activities

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, with a reputation for excellence in patient care and research. Our Paediatric Rheumatology department is part of the Children's Medicine and Neonatology Directorate, which provides secondary and tertiary care to children in South London and the South East of England.
Requirements
- Eligible for full UK GMC registration and a License to Practice
- On GMC Specialist Register for General Paediatrics or within six months of attaining CCT or equivalent
- MRCPCH or equivalent
- Experience in managing safeguarding cases and chronic musculoskeletal pain
- Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions
- Skills to manage acutely ill children in a complex tertiary hospital setting
