Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-time HSEQ Manager to join our team at Navartis in Doncaster, with occasional travel to Kilmarnock. As a key member of our Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company operates in an efficient, safe, and environmentally sound manner.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the way for change and transformation on the railways, leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver record-breaking results while reducing operational costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance to the Leadership team on all aspects of HSEQ, engaging with staff across the organization on health, safety, environmental, and quality issues.

Main Responsibilities

  • HSEQ Strategies and Policies: Ensure the company has appropriate targets to enable continual improvement and implement action plans to meet these targets.
  • Health and Safety Processes: Manage compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, taking the lead in creating a 'Safety First' culture.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach colleagues to take responsibility for their own HSEQ roles, fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your experience in the Rail Sector to drive business growth and success, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH and IOSH Qualifications: Possess NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications, with a proven track record of managing H&S at worksites, including manufacturing assembly facilities and depots.
  • Rail Industry Experience: Have extensive experience in carrying out similar roles within the Rail Sector, with expertise in industry body audits and processes.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
