About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and leading asbestos removal projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead asbestos removal projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct asbestos removal operations under the supervision of a supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to removal projects.
- Conduct comprehensive asbestos surveys in various residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collect samples, perform visual inspections, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of asbestos-containing materials.
- Engage in personal growth to achieve full competency and certification in all consultancy areas.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge with trainees, and supporting colleagues.
Requirements:
- Valid Asbestos Removal Supervisor Certificate (minimum 2 years' experience) and all relevant documentation.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Asbestos Removal Operative Certificate (minimum 2 years' experience) and all relevant documentation.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving License.
- At least 12 months of experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited company.
- Additional asbestos modules are a plus.
- Strong understanding of asbestos-related regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Clean UK driving license.
