Job Title: ICT Service Desk Technician

Are you a skilled IT professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced ICT Service Desk Technician to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized ICT Service Desk Technician to provide first and second-line technical support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware and software, as well as providing remote support to employees working from home or in regional offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software
  • Provide remote support to employees working from home or in regional offices
  • Assist with system builds, software installations, and configurations
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and ensure efficient operations
  • Manage the IT aspects of new employee onboarding and departing employee offboarding processes
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating to appropriate individuals or companies when necessary
  • Create and maintain clear documentation on systems and procedures for the IT team's reference
  • Provide technical and functional support for various applications, portals, software, and equipment used in the business
  • Support devices and users on a Windows network, including Windows computers, laptops, and Active Directory
  • Deploy computers, laptops, and devices to users and provide ongoing maintenance
  • Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and projects to support the operations
  • Deploy and update software across the organization (Autodesk, Adobe, Microsoft, and others)
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 Suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra)

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
