Asbestos Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Management Specialist to join our team at Tersus Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough surveys, including management and refurbishment & demolition surveys, ensuring accurate bulk sampling and precise site notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveys, including management and refurbishment & demolition surveys
  • Engage in comprehensive training programs and stay current with industry trends
  • Complete tasks ranging from statutory re-inspections to airborne fibre monitoring and 4-stage clearance activities
  • Provide expert asbestos management advice to clients, significantly contributing to health and safety
  • Ensure all asbestos-related work meets quality standards, collaborating with the technical team
  • Compile accurate reports, maintaining site laboratory integrity and reliability
  • Identify growth opportunities and promote services to clients, driving success and expansion
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Offer technical advice and support to the team and clients, and prepare comprehensive health and safety risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of current asbestos regulations, including P402, P403, and P404 qualifications
  • A proactive mindset, dedicated to meeting deadlines
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a UKAS accredited environment
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence
