Job Description

This exciting role is an opportunity to join the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, specializing in leadership within the Neuro Outliers team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and treat patients with complex needs, prioritizing efficiently to prevent readmissions.
  • To provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, including rehab therapy assistants and band 5 and 6 OTs.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, contributing to patient care programs.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Undertaken postgraduate courses relevant to occupational therapy.
  • Clinical educators training completed.
