Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to support Year 1 students in a stable and supportive environment. As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects, promoting a positive learning attitude among students.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering interactive lessons, leveraging your knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Support classroom management and behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop stimulating lesson plans, incorporating activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers and students.
  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting, is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and methods to support it is crucial for success in this position.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $30,000 - $40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with a committed team dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
