Role Overview

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Campus Coordinator to join our outstanding SEND team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all our students with special educational needs thrive and meet their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the SEND Support provision on campus, ensuring seamless delivery of services and support to students.
  • Lead and support a team of dedicated SEND advocates, Inclusion Mentors, and coaches, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and the team to ensure that students' needs are regularly reviewed, and students are supported to develop greater independence.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, local authorities, parents, and feeder schools to ensure a proactive approach to the special educational needs assessment process and smooth transition into College for students.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality individualized programs to learners within the College environment, empowering them to develop strategies to overcome difficulties and promote independence.
