**Teaching Assistant Opportunities in SEND Settings**

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in our partner schools within the Waltham Forest area.

About the Role:

The successful candidates will work closely with the school's SEND team and liaise with the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) to implement Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs, providing 1:1 support and working in small groups to ensure pupils' needs are met.

You will join a supportive team of SEND Teachers and Teaching Assistants committed to fostering a positive learning experience for all pupils.

Assignment Details:

  • Full-time roles, Monday to Friday.
  • Both short-term and long-term roles available.

Person Specification:

  • Relevant qualification in SEND or Teaching and Learning (desirable).
  • Experience supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.
  • Good knowledge of different types of Special Educational Needs.
  • A current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex.

Salary: Up to £500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
