Opportunity to Make a Difference in Neonatal Care

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nursing Associate to join our Neonatal Service team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of newborns and their families.

About the Role
  • This role requires a strong commitment to providing person-centered care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, utilizing models, protocols, practical knowledge, and theoretical knowledge under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  2. Provide high-quality patient care, recognizing and meeting the specific needs of each patient within established protocols and guidelines.
  3. Participate in clinical decision-making, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  4. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance patient care.
Person Specification
  • Aptitude to learn new and complex skills, particularly those related to neonatal care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nursing Associate or due to qualify in the next 3 months from job advert release date.
