Customer Incident Response Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Incident Response Team at Thames Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our customer response during incidents within our patch.
Key Responsibilities- Setting up and operating bottled water stations during incidents to ensure customer safety and well-being.
- Supporting small incidents by distributing bottled water directly to customers, prioritizing vulnerable individuals.
- Developing site-specific arrangements for specialist customers, such as hospitals, to ensure effective incident response.
- Working in compliance with Company procedures, including Water Hygiene regulations and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Providing support to our customer response during other incidents, such as distributing letters to customers in support of waste incidents.
- Driving a company-provided van in accordance with road traffic legislation at all times.
- Understanding of and experience working within operational procedures, ideally within the water sector.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including manual handling.
- A full valid UK driving license and confidence behind the wheel.
- Strong and clear communication skills, with the ability to deliver our values.
- Lone working ability, with the capacity to work independently.
- Ability to work outside in all conditions.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Fully proficient in using IT systems, with the ability to communicate via a portable device.
- Team player with the ability to support colleagues.
This role offers a challenging and exciting opportunity to make a difference for our customers when it matters most. As a Customer Incident Response Specialist, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment at the heart of our customer incident response.
This is a field-based role covering the London and Thames Valley patch, with a company van provided. The role works on a 16-week shift pattern with rotating shift times of either 06:00-15:30 or 12:30-22:00, with weekend working on a rotating basis.
Benefits include a starting salary of £23,000 per annum, increasing with experience and skills, 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with length of service, contributory pension, and a range of other benefits.
