Job Title: Quantitative Analyst, Treasury Analytics

About the Role

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join its Treasury Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks related to the valuation and risk management of derivatives and complex financial products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing tools and libraries using C++, Python, and SQL.
  • Design and implement quantitative analysis models to support Treasury's decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with Treasury portfolio managers and traders to analyze proposed new types of instruments/trades and recommend appropriate modelling and pricing methodology.
  • Provide independent and technical opinions on quantitative issues, including assessing internal and external pricing and risk management systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and techniques in the Quant world and IT technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong quantitative skills in financial modelling, including stochastic calculus, numerical methods, and options theory.
  • Experience working in a financial institution or a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of financial instruments, risk management, and portfolio valuation techniques.
  • Proficient in C++, Python, Excel, VBA, databases, JSON, SQL, Matlab, and SVN.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
