Accounts Senior Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the workload for the accounts team, ensuring that monthly workload targets are met, and preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan the workload for the accounts team
  • Ensure that the monthly workload targets are met
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assist management with finalising accounts
  • Assist and train the more junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified
  • Previous experience using IRIS (preferable)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident dealing with clients and working well within a team

What We Offer:

  • £35,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Modern office space with free parking
