Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with complex needs in a school in Bolton. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN needs, either one-to-one or in groups, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Training or experience in Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECS, or Makaton is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with complex needs in a PMLD teaching role
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Providing one-to-one or group support to students with SEN needs

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Professional references covering the past 2 years
  • Commitment to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
