Salary
The annual salary for this position is approximately £47,320 (£910 per week), which includes statutory holiday pay. Additionally, accommodation and all meals are provided.

Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the EFL programme, including testing, timetabling, and class allocation. You will work closely with teachers to provide ongoing guidance and support, conduct observations, and lead teacher development sessions. The daily teachers' meeting will be led by you, ensuring that all teachers are present and prepared for their lessons.

Throughout the day, you will address any issues that may arise, maintain accurate records, and conduct classroom observations. On Mondays, you will coordinate entry tests, allocate students to classes, and review the results. Your responsibility extends to guiding and supporting teachers, particularly those who are newly-qualified or inexperienced.

Each week, you will facilitate an input session for teachers, focusing on effective teaching methods and addressing specific challenges related to summer school teaching.

Key Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will possess:

• A university degree; preference given to those with an MA in TEFL or Applied Linguistics.
• Certification in CELTA / Trinity College TESOL or PGCE (English or MFL).
• DELTA / Trinity College Diploma in TESOL or equivalent qualification.
• QTS (Primary or Secondary) and/or CELTYL preferred.
• TEFL-Q qualification according to Accreditation-UK.

Essential Experience
This role requires extensive teaching experience (5+ years) across various contexts. Relevant experience as an Academic Manager/DOS in junior residential Summer Schools, as well as Teacher Training experience, are advantageous. Course writing experience and staff management skills are mandatory.
