Igloo is seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team in the Reading region. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will work on behalf of our client, a privately owned automotive repair company with operations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers to provide updates on repair status and estimate damage of customer vehicles
  • Estimate damage on or off site and value vehicles to repair costs
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authority and update the online insurance system
  • Order parts with the parts department and ensure maximum customer care throughout the repair process
  • Imaging vehicles throughout different stages and creating job cards with repair methods attached
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of the Audatex estimating system
  • Technical understanding of bodywork and paint repair techniques
  • Practical experience of working on the shop floor in an automotive bodyshop within a similar role
