About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students on their scientific journey, delivering engaging lessons that capture their imagination and encourage exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive science lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  2. Utilise hands-on experiments and cutting-edge resources to make science relevant and captivating for students, highlighting real-world applications of scientific principles.
  3. Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth, and collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for scientific inquiry, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Teaching certification in science.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Proven experience teaching science is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school's curriculum.
