Footwear Technologist

About the Role
The Footwear Technologist will be part of the dedicated Tech team and will report to the General Technical Manager. Working within a small team, this role will be hands-on and will handle a range of footwear across men's, women's, and kids' products.
We are looking for a Technologist who is:
- Experienced in footwear within the fashion industry, with a strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Strong ability to risk assess products and understand testing and performance, with a focus on quality and reliability.
- An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, & Excel), with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Driven and results-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting business objectives.
- Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused, with a strong ability to think critically and creatively.
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business, or retail, with a strong understanding of the fashion industry and its trends.
About the Recruitment Process:
The interview process will consist of two interviews:
- Initial interview via MS Teams with the General Technical Manager and a member of the HR Team.
- Second interview, in person with the General Technical Manager and a member of the HR Team.
