About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a General Assistant at Ardmaine Care Home. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our kitchens, housekeeping, and laundry functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the expected standards are achieved throughout the home
  • Cover domestic, kitchen, and laundry duties, with training provided in all areas
  • Identify and report any damage, faults, or other issues to maintenance or management
  • Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
  • Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the Home Manager

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in a care home or healthcare environment
  • Previous experience gained in a domestic, laundry, or kitchen environment
  • To be numerate and literate with a good standard of English
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety, Fire, and Security Regulations
