Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Life Sciences organisation as it prepares for its next round of funding. We are seeking a qualified finance professional to ensure strong financial controls, maintain accurate reporting, and support long-term financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including a team of two.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly investor reporting.
  • Manage monthly cash flow processes, optimising the accuracy of forecast runway.
  • Act as a key partner to R&D and project management teams and operational areas of the business.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of the UK statutory accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of the R&D tax credit claim.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the annual statutory audit.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

You will be an ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified finance professional. Ideally, you will have gained experience in a similar R&D environment. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be a skilled communicator with a hands-on mindset.

Excellent base salary plus bonus and employee share scheme.
