About This Role:

The Buying Assistant at Liberty plays a vital part in driving commercial performance and enhancing the customer experience.

They work closely with the Assistant Buyer and Junior Buyer to provide comprehensive support across all channels (Store & Online) and operational models (Own Buy and Concession).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth understanding of the luxury market and customer preferences.
  • Develop exceptional communication skills for building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excel in data management and analysis with keen attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborate as a team player with a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant data management tools.
  • Lead end-to-end product creation across Liberty, Own Bought, and Concession products.
  • Serve as a central information source for brand and product insights for training and marketing.
  • Effectively collect and manage supplier assets.
  • Ensure efficient communication across the business for prompt inquiry resolution.
  • Develop strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Prepare agendas for Buying appointments and trips.
  • Request and verify order confirmations from brands, making necessary adjustments.
