Job Description

Garden View supports older people who have had an admission to Borders General Hospital and are needing additional assessment prior to returning home or to a more supported living environment.

The role of a Support Worker is to assist these individuals in regaining their independence and re-ablement work. As a Support Worker, you will be fully involved in the assessment process and the ongoing delivery and review of care needs.

You will provide person-centred support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans, which you will be involved in developing.

Requirements

  • Experience working with adults
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • PVG Adults registration (will be arranged by us)
