Supply Chain Specialist

Are you a procurement professional looking for significant development opportunities and career growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for category management across various food and non-food categories.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve overall budget targets through successful negotiations, product and supplier reviews, and new product sourcing.
- Determine commercial strategies to reduce costs while maintaining or improving quality standards.
**Requirements:**
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Experience of food and ingredients procurement.
- Commercially savvy and data driven, but also able to make a human connection with internal teams and suppliers.
**Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits. We are seeking applications from talented Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Category Buyers, or Procurement Managers who live within Shropshire area.
