The Role:

As a Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the company's pallet operations. With a fleet of over 20 vehicles operating 24 hours a day, we are looking for someone who has mastered their craft, understands the importance of cost-saving decisions, and has great geographical knowledge of the SS and CM area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan and coordinate transport routes, focusing on the SS postcodes.
  • Collaborate closely with drivers and warehouse operatives to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize your strong geographical knowledge to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  • Monitor and manage transport activities to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to address and resolve any logistical challenges.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Circa £35,000 (negotiable based on experience).
  • Working Hours: Start at 4 AM, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 9 and 10 hours per day.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in transport planning within the pallet network.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work with drivers closely to achieve operational goals.
  • Ability to work closely with a team and manage time effectively.
