Job Details
  • Position: Workshop Technician (Repair Centre)
  • Location: Lisburn
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday), 8:30am to 4:30pm on Friday
  • Salary: £25,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
  1. Machine Refurbishment: You will be responsible for refurbishing machines to the highest standards, adhering to current procedures for grade 1 and 2 equipment, including BTC and PSSR inspections in compliance with Coffee Safe regulations. Your work must meet quality checks by RC Supervisors, and you'll aim to improve processes as required, aiming for performance targets that may lead to grade promotions.
  2. Health and Safety Compliance: It's essential to meet all legal and Health and Safety requirements, reporting any accidents to a member of Production Management and potential hazards as soon as possible.
  3. Hygiene Compliance: You will ensure all production staff adhere to published procedures, following Health and Safety, Legal, Quality, and Environmental Management regulations, keeping the factory tidy and organised for audits.
  4. Teamwork: Being aware of departmental performance is crucial.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need previous experience in a similar position, such as in a repair centre or manufacturing environment, along with experience using hand tools. A qualification or certificate in NC Electrical & Engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent, and a Coffee Safe PSSR accreditation are also required.

The estimated salary for this position is around £25,500-£27,500 per annum, based on location and job requirements.
