Hamilton Woods is an American-owned, large and fast-paced business undergoing a period of significant change. We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Finance to implement new controls, tighten processes surrounding month, quarter, and year-end financial reporting.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £95,000, with 15% bonus, pension scheme, and hybrid working arrangements, including two days per week in the office.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining a robust control environment and driving transformation in operational finance performance. This includes automating processes, delivering high-quality management information, and providing insightful forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the audit process and accounting for medium-sized entities, ideally with experience in listed companies.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a large team.
- Credibility building, establishing trust with internal and external stakeholders, and serving as an ambassador for finance.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality outputs.
- A keen interest in understanding details and addressing issues affecting the team and wider business.
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant, ideally trained in practice.
