We are a not-for-profit charity established in 1989, supporting people with learning disabilities in Wales. Our innovative approach encourages individuals, employees, and the community to be in control of one of Wales' largest support providers.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our service. Your focus will be on promoting independence for the people we support, enabling them in an innovative, person-centred, and flexible way.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to give quality, person-centred support.
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action to deliver an excellent service.
- Manage the service to ensure it meets the needs of the people we support and our organisational goals.
Requirements
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically.
- Reliability and commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a growing team.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the region.
- Care management experience and QCF level 3 qualification (willingness to work towards Level 5).
