Concept Technical Resources is a leading provider of lighting, bathroom fittings, and fixtures for homes. We have become leaders in the design industry by consistently sourcing and supplying high-quality products. Our Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering the financial function, including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in retail and e-commerce environments. You will be responsible for:
* Managing and delivering the financial function, including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Preparing monthly management accounts and detailed analysis, with a focus on margin to understand results and trends.
* Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and liaising with external audit partners.
* Managing sales ledger reconciliations across the business, including ecommerce, retail, and trade.
* Managing an accounts team of 3.
* Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and functions.
* Leading on financial analysis to support business decision-making, including preparing monthly sales reports.
* Supporting and monitoring performance against budget and forecast variances with the CEO.
* Managing the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and addressing development needs as required.
* Managing monthly credit card reconciliations and company expenses.
* Ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including VAT returns.
* Serving as financial liaison to showrooms, suppliers, and customers.
**Salary and Benefits:**
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide:
* 28 days holiday per year.

**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent analytical degree.
* CIMA/ACA/AAT qualification.
* High-level accounting experience within a retail and e-commerce background.
* Advanced Excel skills and high-level systems proficiency.
* Strong knowledge and proven experience of financial and general accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
