About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon UK Services Ltd. as an Area Manager, where you will play a key role in driving the success of our operations. As a seasoned leader with military experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Fulfilment Centres, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: You will work closely with our operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: You will work closely with our management teams, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our operations are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage Projects and Initiatives: You will be responsible for leading projects and initiatives that drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
About the Team

Our Customer Fulfilment team is at the heart of Amazon's operations, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

We are based in Fulfilment Centres, which are the first point of contact for many of our customers. Our centres are the beating heart of our operations, and we are looking for talented individuals like you to join our team.
