RAC is seeking an experienced Financial Director to support the Fleet, SVM, and IP Business Partners. This role will involve driving the financial performance of Business Roadside while providing full and accurate financial information, decision support, financial guidance, and advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide flexibility across all Business Roadside areas as priorities require.
  • Understand the Group Strategic Plans & Priorities and the specific short and medium-term targets involved in influencing.
  • Inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area supported.
  • Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting.
  • Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers.
  • Support the provision of effective financial insight, analysis, and challenge.
  • Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified with relevant finance experience.
  • Strong Financial Modelling and Analytical Skills.
  • Good understanding of relevant commercial disciplines.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively.
