Senior Programme Procurement Specialist

Amentum is a leading global technical and engineering services partner, renowned for its operational excellence, mission focus, and successful execution underpinned by a strong culture of safety and ethics.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Procurement Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage the commercial delivery of framework supplier arrangements and ensure consistency in procurement across all projects within the programme.
  • To develop and implement an effective and efficient procurement and supply chain management programme, ensuring compliance with requirements and promoting best practices.
  • To provide commercial assurance of procurement activities and be responsible for development and maintenance of SRM measures and reporting for the programme.
  • To serve as a key contact for liaising between internal and external customers/stakeholders to ensure appropriate dissemination of commercial information, guidance, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
  • Preferable experience in procurement of nuclear-grade plant, equipment, works, and services (or equivalent).
  • Experience of ERP systems, P2P, and their application in a programme/project environment, including implementation of efficiency improvements and day-to-day operation.
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial delivery role, preferably with major project delivery as a prime contractor rather than a client-side consultant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
