Deputy Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily running of our Ofsted Registered Children's home Service in the Southport area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Devising and managing staff rotas to ensure adequate cover at all times
* Preparing and coordinating care plans and risk assessments to ensure the well-being of our residents
* Chairing staff meetings to discuss important issues and provide guidance
* Holding regular staff supervisions and appraisals to support staff development
* Taking on support shifts when required to ensure continuity of care
* Managing medication and handling petty cash and budgets
* Working closely with senior staff to develop Person-Centred support plans for our residents
* Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Conducting regular audits of files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

**Requirements:**

* 3 years of experience working with Children or Young People in a residential environment, with 2 years at a senior level
* Knowledge of Ofsted Regulations and a minimum of a Level 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Services or working towards
* Ability to participate in on-call rotas and take out-of-hours calls as required
* Full UK Driving License
