About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Gloucester and the Forest of Dean. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their own homes during the evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, including accompanying them on outings and engaging in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- No previous experience or qualifications are required, as we provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role.
- A means of transport is essential, as clients are primarily cared for in their own homes, and you may be required to accompany them on appointments or outings.
