Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a SEMH specialist school in the London Borough of Greenwich. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour plans to promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupil progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive school environment
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
  • Experience with challenging behaviour - this role would suit someone who has worked in a PRU or SEMH school, has work as a Pastoral Officer in a school, or has experience with challenging behaviour as a Youth Worker
  • Behaviour Mentor/ Youth Worker experience
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • A passion for working with SEND is essential
