Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a well-established multi-site food manufacturing business to find a skilled Supply Chain Planner/Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Place orders for packaging materials from established supply partners to meet production needs.
  • Packaging Forecasting: Review packaging requirements based on the Supply & Demand Plan and packaging forecasts to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with packing centre teams and transport to maintain optimal stock levels across various business locations.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Proactively engage with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and manage complaints or investigations as needed.
  • New Product Launches: Oversee packaging run-outs and collaborate with suppliers and internal project teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support for ad-hoc requests from the packaging team and contribute to the Supply Chain team with a flexible, adaptable approach.

On Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 - £33,000, negotiable for exceptional candidates.
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.
