About the Role:

Worcestershire County Council's Transport Commissioning Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team as a Transport Allocation Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Transport Commissioning Team to deliver effective and quality transport services to Worcestershire's residents.
  • Manage a wide range of contracts, ensuring that Worcestershire County Council's priorities and aspirations are at the heart of service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including operators and other transport providers.
  • Contribute to the development of transport policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the Council's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, including operators and transport providers.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
