Aircraft Operations Lead

At DiverseJobsMatter, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Operations Lead to join our team at London Gatwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organisation.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around £65,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- This role involves leading and supervising maintenance activities, setting clear targets and expectations to deliver departmental objectives.
- You will be responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks, achieved through effective leadership and supervision of maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will remain qualified and authorised required aircraft types, vehicles and equipment applicable to area and able to carry out all tasks associated with the Certifying Licenced Technician role.
- Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to quality, health, safety and environment regulations and housekeeping standards is also crucial.
We are looking for someone who can create a culture of continuous improvement in a production environment, increasing unit performance and colleague development.
We require the following skills and qualifications:
- CAA Part-66 Category B licence
- Unrestricted B1 or B2
- Valid full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Able to hold an airport restricted zone access
