Special Educational Needs Coordinator

We are currently working alongside a developed mainstream Secondary School in Haringey looking for an experienced SENCO to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the students while contributing to an inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate special educational needs provision across the school.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) & Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Leading and managing staff within SEN.
- Monitor and track student progress, ensuring tailored support is provided.
- In class teaching across the curriculum.
- Making referrals.
- Collaborate with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- A SENCO qualification or actively working towards gaining one.
- QTS not essential but desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of SEN needs.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and student wellbeing.
