The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of software products, including mission planning and control systems, command and control units, and real-time components.

You will be part of a strong, cohesive team that is passionate about software technologies and development. We have an open and encouraging approach to software development and are always looking for ways to improve our processes.

This role offers a great learning environment, with opportunities to work closely with other teams and departments. You will cover various aspects of software development, from embedded systems to front-end software, using languages such as C, C++, and Java.

What We're Looking For
  • A strong academic record, with 5 GCSES including Maths, English Language, and Science/Technology (all sciences or IT) at Grade 9-4.
  • 120 UCAS points, achieved through a T-Level in Software Engineering/Computing at Merit or Distinction, or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing/IT at DDM.
