We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Co-ordinator to join our team at ST EDWARD'S SCHOOL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the systems of safeguarding and developing a proactive safeguarding culture within the school.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safeguarding, ideally within an education or public sector environment. They should possess excellent working knowledge of safeguarding and related practices, as well as up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory guidance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to create and maintain a safe environment for our pupils. We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

You will work closely with the Director of Safeguarding and the Pastoral Management Team to ensure a co-ordinated approach to safeguarding, casework, compliance, and record keeping. You will also maintain and develop excellent working relationships with external agencies, such as ESAT, LADO, Children's Social Care, Police, and CAMHS.
